Project inspired by modern Italy

Excerpt from an article by Valerie Hauch - Toronto Star

Style. Class. Italia.

Those three words could be used to conjure up the essence of Casa Condominio Residenza, a 46-storey condominium that builder Cresford Developments will put up at 33 Charles St. E., close to the Bloor-Yonge and Yorkville shopping districts.

There will be 407 condos in the steel structure, which will include walls of glass and wraparound balconies and has been designed by Peter Clewes of architectsAlliance.

The Casa Condominio Residenza building will include a five-storey podium and a lobby that will rise a full four floors. On the fifth floor, there will be a recreation facility called Pezzo Forte.Athanasoulis says a lot of emphasis has been placed on Casa Condominio Residenza’s amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub (heated year-round) and an outdoor fireplace with a lounge area, an arbour dining pavilion and al fresco bar.

In keeping with the Italian feel, the condos will include imported Italian kitchens with quartz or granite countertops and ceramic, glass tile or back painted glass backsplashes. The stainless steel appliance package includes the fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave.

Casa condos will have stacked washers and dryers and bathrooms with ceramic or stone tile.

Casa Condominio Residenza features engineered hardwood in the foyer, living, dining, kitchen and den areas. There are also balconies or terraces with sliding glass doors on all levels.
