During the first two weekends in December, visitors to VU in downtown Toronto were treated to an extra-special experience. In celebration of the season, Aspen Ridge held a Holiday Open House at the gallery-style presentation centre. Those who dropped in warmed up with everything from Chai tea to espresso and cappuccino, and enjoyed some freshly baked holiday treats. They also helped to celebrate everything VU has to offer, including a superb location.
This master-planned community encompasses an entire city block in Old Town Toronto, stretching along Adelaide from Jarvis to George, and north to Richmond. Residents will be able to walk to St. Lawrence Market, St. James Park and the many shops, galleries, restaurants and clubs in the vicinity.
Choices at VU include a limited collection of 13 two-storey townhomes that offer chic street-level living along the west side of George in addition to high-rise luxury. Hariri Pontarini Architects designed the stunning, contemporary glass exteriors of the towers, which will be connected by an eight-storey podium containing 14,000 sq. ft. of retail space, as well as Aspen Ridge’s innovative nUlofts. Aspen Ridge also offers a range of traditional suites at VU. Interior spaces have been styled by Cecconi Simone Interior Design.
All residents of VU will have access to the amenities in the condominium buildings, which include a stunning expanse of outdoor space located on top of the podium, with a landscaped lounge, lawn bowling, a barbeque and bar area, and a cabana. A party room for each tower opens onto Club VU and the rooftop gardens.
VU’s townhouses are priced in the $500,000′s to the $600,000′s; nUlofts and condos are priced from the $200,000′s to just over $700,000. With construction scheduled to start in March, time is drawing short for buyers to enjoy pre-construction prices.
