Bartlett Lofts - 6 Bartlett Avenue
The Bartlett Lofts are one of Toronto's first loft conversion developments. It's located just east of Dufferin St. and north of Bloor St. The conversion of the warehouse at 6 Bartlett Avenue to residential loft housing was completed by Allan D. Gordon Associates in 1985. The project won the Ontario Renews Award that year.
The building contains 13 units ranging in size from 1,300 to 1,600 square feet. Each unit includes one separate exterior garage space. Maintenance fees are low, the same for each unit - but don't include hydro. Features include large cedar roof decks, fireplaces, 3 levels of living space, and a 30 foot atrium with skylights to bring in natural light. Security is by way of an enterphone system. The Bartlett Lofts offers unique living in Toronto's west end.
